Most of the clothings and wears on Adjoaa are made to order, and require approximately 10 business days for production before shipping. This allows our designers to produce more responsibly and reduce waste.
The Mlinzi Kimono is a handcrafted statement piece that celebrates artisanal beadwork and cultural design. Each garment features intricate hand-beaded detailing executed using the traditional tambour technique with white micro seed beads. The front showcases symbolic motifs—eye, sun, spiral, and Ekantik designs—while the back presents a striking tribal mask as the focal point. Crafted from soft beige viscose slub cotton, this kimono drapes with a relaxed, easy silhouette that skims to calf length, offering effortless elegance and comfort. Lightweight and breathable, it's perfect for layering or wearing as a statement cover-up.
Every piece is handmade at the Ekantik workshop in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, making it a unique addition to any wardrobe that honours traditional craftsmanship.
