Listen close: we’re dying to tell you about Anike! They’re sure to be your new favourite brand for their bold, beautiful designs – not to mention their mission to champion African artistry. If you’re anything like us, you’ll be head over heels for Anike in no time.
Here’s the story: Anike got its name from Anike Abiola, their creative director. She basically got inspired by Yoruba culture to create some amazing garments – ‘living pieces’ that preserve African stories! Cool stuff, right?
At Anike, fashion is more than materials and fabrics, more than a way of covering up; they say it’s a way you can express yourself. We couldn’t agree more!

Stylish, Sustainable, Unapologetically African
They’re such a unique brand, coming out with pieces that both celebrate rich African history – stories, culture, narratives – and feel strikingly modern. Their eye-catching, showstopping designs that mix Nigerian fashion with quiet luxury are bound to be your latest fashion fixation!
You know how, here at ADJOAA, we’re all about fashion that’s both sustainable and stylish? That’s Anike summed up pretty well: stunning pieces that are super high-quality and use responsibly sourced materials. TBH, we couldn’t be more in love.
Anike are so good at utilising African designs, patterns and textures, bringing them to a global audience (and making it super stylish along the way, obvi). We honestly love how they champion creativity and craftsmanship!

Their commitment to preserving & promoting African stories extends to their sustainability initiatives; the cotton they use is organic and ethically sourced. What’s more, Anike is a cruelty-free brand, so naturally we’re hooked on them!
Oh, and they’re also one of our favourite African slow fashion brands, making each item to order – so when you order from Anike, you just know each piece has been carefully crafted.
Spotlight on Anike’s Masterpieces
Let’s take a look at some of Anike’s standout items. We’re loving this Ola corset top, whose design (influenced by African patterning) accentuates a flattering fit. In particular, they’re using traditional tribal Adire fabric in such an interesting way – it’s so eye-catching we can’t look away!
